About
The Story
Horizon on Sunset welcomes all people to experience and explore art in all media from across the world. We are committed to activating the inspiration and power in all art forms and creating an immersive moment for all visitors.
The History
Over the past four decades, famed Houston gallerist Ron Gremillion has helped steer countless clients to thoughtful and inspiring acquisitions from an array of local, national, and global artists – both emerging and notable. During that time, he built an extensive inventory for the gallery and significantly expanded his private collection. Then, with retirement plans hatched during the height of the pandemic, the gallery quietly closed last year. In that time, Gremillion has been slowly cataloging and rediscovering a literal treasure trove of original paintings, prints, and sculpture stored in every nook and cranny of the sprawling compound at 2501 Sunset Boulevard just east of Kirby.

The Gallery
With great respect and input from Ron, Horizon on Sunset at the Gremillion Building was remodeled. Art covers every wall of the original, two-story gallery building. Five first-floor offices were repurposed as intimate single-artist exhibition spaces.

The Event Center
The Event Center includes an event space that can be reimagined for all your needs. The building is two stories, with a clean facade ready for curated events. Envision a unique gallery space, culinary adventures, weddings, parties, exclusive meetings, musical moments, and immersive art performances.
The Courtyard
Our spacious courtyard offers a picturesque backdrop for any private celebration or intimate al fresco dining gathering. The open air space and historic oak trees creates a unique blend of elegance and nature for any private event.
